We're a small team of designers and developers building free tools that make design accessible to everyone.
PixelFlare Design started with a simple frustration: why do designers have to pay expensive subscriptions or deal with intrusive watermarks just to accomplish basic design tasks? We believed there had to be a better way.
Our goal is to create professional-grade design tools that anyone can use for free. No sign-ups, no watermarks, no catch. We run our business through ethical advertising and premium tool features, not by holding basic functionality hostage.
Most online design tools have a fundamental problem: they process your images on their servers. This means your work is uploaded, potentially stored, and who knows what happens to it afterward. We took a different approach.
Every tool on PixelFlare runs entirely in your browser. Your images never leave your device. Your designs remain yours, period. This isn't just a marketing claim—it's how the technology works. We're browser-based first, which means your privacy isn't an afterthought; it's built into our architecture.
We're a distributed team of designers, developers, and creative professionals scattered across three continents. What unites us is a shared belief that good design tools shouldn't require a designer-sized budget to access.
Our tools are built based on problems we've actually faced in our own work. When we needed to quickly generate a color palette for a client project, we built one. When we needed to check contrast ratios for an accessibility audit, we built that too. Every tool exists because we needed it ourselves first.
We believe design tools should be:
